YES!

Now they need to do a B-body wagon. If only I had the money ...

What I wouldn’t give for an Icon Roadmaster.

Said it before, will say it again. This is very close to the Caprice I would get built if I had tons of cash. I think its awesome to see people are out there that are willing to spend so much money on a Caprice

Powdercoated frame is badass. CNC aluminum versions of all of the plastic touch-points is all kinds of awesome. That gauge cluster looks fantastic. Those heated cupholders are a Ford parts bin part, I’m pretty sure. Those seats look comfy but whaaah no benches?! CNC aluminum steelie replicas = lol why. Matte black paint job = fucking whyyyyyyy.

I love the gauges as well. And I agree on the bench.

Maybe he’ll want to do my ‘97 Crown Vic next??

Do you have six figures to spend on it?

The cup holders are from an Escalade. I’d want a bench too, but cop cars always have buckets and a utility console, so the choice makes sense. The bigger wheels make room for better brakes and a better selection of good tires. If I could buy a set for my Roadmaster, I would (well, I wouldn’t because I couldn’t afford them, but I’d want them). I like the matte black, but the look is played out, so I’m with you there.

Ah, damn. The Chevy dealership I work at doesn’t sell Caddys so I’ve not yet had the pleasure of being in a new Escalade (I want to, though).
I really want to do this with a first-gen Camaro. Body and frame off, transfer the current-gen Camaro drivetrain and suspension to the old Camaro frame with some tasteful yet updated 17" or 18" wheels, integrate the modern gauge cluster and infotainment unit into the classic interior, add lots of sound deadening, upgrade the speakers, modern seats, modern steering wheel. All the comfort, speed, and handling abilities of a modern Camaro with the awesome visibility and stunning looks of the original.

And paint it blue

I’ll see what they’d charge for my ‘96 RMW.

I’ve already thought about wheel selection. Something along the lines of what this guy did on his Pontiac, albeit with white stripes to simulate the factory white walls. And the Recaros are badass. I’d love to replace the cracked front bench in my wagon with a set. And, man, that gear indicator!

But here’s my rub with this (aside from the matte black paint and the fact that it’s a sedan): ICON act as if there isn’t much in the way of aftermarket support for these cars. While I agree that interior and trim are real nightmares to get (and can be quite expensive), performance bits are pretty easy to find, especially for the sedan.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

No, but how about C6 Z06 brakes for less? (Admittedly, the spindles need to be cut to remove the caliper bracket, but that’s small potatoes on a custom build.)

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

If only Hotchkis , SpeedTech , or someone else made aftermarket suspension for the GM B-body! Even Ridetech makes a kit!

If I did, do you think I’d be driving a ‘97 Crown Vic? Heck no! It’d be an ‘06 :P

But seriously though, if only...

CNC steelie replicas because iirc they couldn’t find a steelie big enough for the tires they wanted.

The cup holders are an OEM Escalade piece
